Abstract: In this paper, the strength of a stabilizer is determined when the static and fatigue multiaxial loading are applied. Stabilizer is a part of suspension system in the heavy truck for stabilizing the cabin against the vibration of the road which composes of a thin-walled tube joined to a forge component by fillet weld. The component is loaded by non proportional random sequence of torsion and bending. Residual stress of welding process is considered here for static loading. This static loading with road irregularities are applied in this study as fatigue case that can affected in the fillet welded area of this part. The stresses in the welded structure are calculated using FEA. In addition, the fatigue with multi axial loading in the fillet weld is also investigated and the critical zone of the stabilizer is specified and presented by graphs. Residual stresses that have been resulted by the thermal forces are considered in FEA. Force increasing is the element of finding the critical point of the component.
Abstract: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding
RNAs that hybridize to mRNAs and induce either translation
repression or mRNA cleavage. Recently, it has been reported that
miRNAs could possibly play an important role in human diseases. By
integrating miRNA target genes, cancer genes, miRNA and mRNA
expression profiles information, a database is developed to link
miRNAs to cancer target genes. The database provides experimentally
verified human miRNA target genes information, including oncogenes
and tumor suppressor genes. In addition, fragile sites information for
miRNAs, and the strength of the correlation of miRNA and its target
mRNA expression level for nine tissue types are computed, which
serve as an indicator for suggesting miRNAs could play a role in

Abstract: The hydro-mechanical model for unsaturated soils has
been presented based on the effective stress principle taking into
account effects of drying-wetting process. The elasto-plastic
constitutive equations for stress-strain relations of the soil skeleton
have been established. A plasticity model is modified from modified
Cam-Clay model. The hardening rule has been established by
considering the isotropic consolidation paths. The effect of dryingwetting
process is introduced through the ¤ç parameter. All model
coefficients are identified in terms of measurable parameters. The
simulations from the proposed model are compared with the
experimental results. The model calibration was performed to extract
the model parameter from the experimental results. Good agreement
between the results predicted using proposed model and the
experimental results was obtained.
Abstract: In this paper, the processing of sonar signals has been
carried out using Minimal Resource Allocation Network (MRAN)
and a Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) in differentiation of
commonly encountered features in indoor environments. The
stability-plasticity behaviors of both networks have been
investigated. The experimental result shows that MRAN possesses
lower network complexity but experiences higher plasticity than
PNN. An enhanced version called parallel MRAN (pMRAN) is
proposed to solve this problem and is proven to be stable in
prediction and also outperformed the original MRAN.
Abstract: CFlow is a flow chart software, it contains facilities to
draw and evaluate a flow chart. A flow chart evaluation applies a
simulation method to enable presentation of work flow in a flow
chart solution. Flow chart simulation of CFlow is executed by
manipulating the CFlow data file which is saved in a graphical vector
format. These text-based data are organised by using a data
classification technic based on a Library classification-scheme. This
paper describes the file format for flow chart simulation software of
CFlow.
Abstract: Unlike general-purpose processors, digital signal
processors (DSP processors) are strongly application-dependent. To
meet the needs for diverse applications, a wide variety of DSP
processors based on different architectures ranging from the
traditional to VLIW have been introduced to the market over the
years. The functionality, performance, and cost of these processors
vary over a wide range. In order to select a processor that meets the
design criteria for an application, processor performance is usually
the major concern for digital signal processing (DSP) application
developers. Performance data are also essential for the designers of
DSP processors to improve their design. Consequently, several DSP
performance benchmarks have been proposed over the past decade or
so. However, none of these benchmarks seem to have included recent
new DSP applications.
In this paper, we use a new benchmark that we recently developed
to compare the performance of popular DSP processors from Texas
Instruments and StarCore. The new benchmark is based on the
Selectable Mode Vocoder (SMV), a speech-coding program from the
recent third generation (3G) wireless voice applications. All
benchmark kernels are compiled by the compilers of the respective
DSP processors and run on their simulators. Weighted arithmetic
mean of clock cycles and arithmetic mean of code size are used to
compare the performance of five DSP processors.
In addition, we studied how the performance of a processor is
affected by code structure, features of processor architecture and
optimization of compiler. The extensive experimental data gathered,
analyzed, and presented in this paper should be helpful for DSP
processor and compiler designers to meet their specific design goals.
Abstract: Shipping comb is mounted on Head Stack Assembly
(HSA) to prevent collision of the heads, maintain the gap between
suspensions and protect HSA tips from unintentional contact
damaged in the manufacturing process. Failure analysis of shipping
comb in hard disk drive production processes is proposed .Field
observations were performed to determine the fatal areas on shipping
comb and their failure fraction. Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) is
applied to specify the failure causes subjected to various loading
conditions. For reliability improvement, failure mode and effects
analysis (FMEA) procedure to evaluate the risk priority is performed.
Consequently, the more suitable information design criterions were
obtained.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to survey the effect of
organizational communication system on the conflict in physical
education offices of Isfahan province. The research methodology of
this research was a descriptive study. All employees working in
physical education offices of Isfahan province were included in the
sample for this study (N= 236). Researcher made questionnaire and
demographic questionnaire were used as investigation instruments.
Based on the result of chi square test, there is significant difference
between organizational communication system and interpersonal
conflict. The most of participants evaluate communication in an
informal way and pointed out that the communication channels were
not open. Based on the result of binomial test, interpersonal conflict
exists in physical education offices of Isfahan.
Abstract: Previous studies have indicated that one of the most
critical failure reasons of enterprise systems is the lack of knowledge
sharing and utilization across organizations. As a consequence, many
information systems researchers have paid attention to examining the
effect of absorptive capacity closely associated with knowledge
sharing and transferring on IS usage performance. A lack of
communications and interactions due to a lack of organizational
citizenship behavior might lead to weak absorptive capacity and thus
negatively influence knowledge sharing across organizations. In this
study, a theoretical model which delves into the relationship between
usage performance of enterprise systems and its determinants was
established.
Abstract: Based on the standard finite element method, a new
finite element method which is known as nonlocal finite element
method (NL-FEM) is numerically implemented in this article to
study the nonlocal effects for solving 1D nonlocal elastic problem.
An Eringen-type nonlocal elastic model is considered. In this model,
the constitutive stress-strain law is expressed interms of integral
equation which governs the nonlocal material behavior. The new
NL-FEM is adopted in such a way that the postulated nonlocal elastic
behavior of material is captured by a finite element endowed with a
set of (cross-stiffness) element itself by the other elements in mesh.
An example with their analytical solutions and the relevant numerical
findings for various load and boundary conditions are presented and
discussed in details. It is observed from the numerical solutions that
the torsional deformation angle decreases with increasing nonlocal
nanoscale parameter. It is also noted that the analytical solution fails
to capture the nonlocal effect in some cases where numerical
solutions handle those situation effectively which prove the
reliability and effectiveness of numerical techniques.
Abstract: Artemia is one of the most conspicuous invertebrates
associated with aquaculture. It can be considered as a model
organism, offering numerous advantages for comprehensive and
multidisciplinary studies using morphologic or molecular methods.
Since DNA extraction is an important step of any molecular
experiment, a new and a rapid method of DNA extraction from adult
Artemia was described in this study. Besides, the efficiency of this
technique was compared with two widely used alternative techniques,
namely Chelex® 100 resin and SDS-chloroform methods. Data
analysis revealed that the new method is the easiest and the most cost
effective method among the other methods which allows a quick and
efficient extraction of DNA from the adult animal.
Abstract: In the present paper, we-ll explore how social media tools provide an opportunity for new developments of the e-Learning in the context of managing personal knowledge. There will be a discussion how social media tools provide a possibility for helping knowledge workersand students to gather, organize and manage their personal information as a part of the e-learning process. At the centre of this social software driven approach to e-learning environments are the challenges of personalization and collaboration. We-ll share concepts of how organizations are using social media for e-Learning and believe that integration of these tools into traditional e-Learning is probably not a choice, but inevitability. Students- Survey of use of web technologies and social networking tools is presented. Newly developed framework for semantic blogging capable of organizing results relevant to user requirements is implemented at Varna Free University (VFU) to provide more effective navigation and search.
Abstract: This paper is devoted to a delayed periodic predatorprey system with non-monotonic numerical response on time scales. With the help of a continuation theorem based on coincidence degree theory, we establish easily verifiable criteria for the existence of multiple periodic solutions. As corollaries, some applications are listed. In particular, our results improve and generalize some known ones.
Abstract: Educating effective architect designers is an important
goal of architectural education. But what contributes to students-
performance, and to critical and creative thinking in architectural
design education? Besides teaching architecture students how to
understand logical arguments, eliminate the inadequate solutions and
focus on the correct ones, it is also crucial to teach students how to
focus on exploring ideas and the alternative solutions and seeking for
other right answers rather than one. This paper focuses on the
enhancing architectural design education and may provide
implications for enhancing teaching design.

Abstract: Security is an interesting and significance issue for
popular virtual platforms, such as virtualization cluster and cloud
platforms. Virtualization is the powerful technology for cloud
computing services, there are a lot of benefits by using virtual machine
tools which be called hypervisors, such as it can quickly deploy all
kinds of virtual Operating Systems in single platform, able to control
all virtual system resources effectively, cost down for system platform
deployment, ability of customization, high elasticity and high
reliability. However, some important security problems need to take
care and resolved in virtual platforms that include terrible viruses, evil
programs, illegal operations and intrusion behavior. In this paper, we
present useful Intrusion Detection Mechanism (IDM) software that not
only can auto to analyze all system-s operations with the accounting
journal database, but also is able to monitor the system-s state for
virtual platforms.
Abstract: A feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effect
of periodically use of garlic on performance and carcass
characteristics in broiler chickens. 240 1-day-old Ross broiler chicks
randomly allocated into the 10 dietary treatments (A, B, C, D, E, F,
G, H, I and J) for 6 wk. Treatment A or control group, received basal
diet (based on standards of Ross management guidelines) without
supplementation of garlic powder while B, C and D dietary
treatments were basal diet supplemented with 0.5, 1 and 3% garlic
powder, respectively for the whole time of experiment (6 weeks).
Birds in group E, F and G were fed control diet supplemented with
0.5, 1 and 3% garlic powder, respectively just in their starter diet (0-
21d). Birds in three other treatments (H, I and J) received control diet
for the first 21 days and 0.5, 1 and 3% of garlic powder was added to
their finisher diets, respectively. 1 and 3% supplemented groups in
finisher period had better performance as compared with other
groups. Since present study conducted in optimum and antiseptic
conditions, it seems that better or more responses could be expected
in performance if the raising conditions would not be healthy.
Abstract: Geographic Profiling has successfully assisted investigations for serial crimes. Considering the multi-cluster feature of serial criminal spots, we propose a Multi-point Centrography model as a natural extension of Single-point Centrography for geographic profiling. K-means clustering is first performed on the data samples and then Single-point Centrography is adopted to derive a probability distribution on each cluster. Finally, a weighted combinations of each distribution is formed to make next-crime spot prediction. Experimental study on real cases demonstrates the effectiveness of our proposed model.
Abstract: In this paper, some new nonlinear generalized
Gronwall-Bellman-Type integral inequalities with mixed time delays
are established. These inequalities can be used as handy tools
to research stability problems of delayed differential and integral
dynamic systems. As applications, based on these new established
inequalities, some p-stable results of a integro-differential equation
are also given. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate
the validity of the main results.
Abstract: The objective of this work was to examine the changes
in non destructive properties caused by carbonation of CEM II
mortar. Samples of CEM II mortar were prepared and subjected to
accelerated carbonation at 20°C, 65% relative humidity and 20% CO2
concentration. We examined the evolutions of the gas permeability,
the thermal conductivity, the thermal diffusivity, the volume of the
solid phase by helium pycnometry, the longitudinal and transverse
ultrasonic velocities. The principal contribution of this work is that,
apart of the gas permeability, changes in other non destructive
properties have never been studied during the carbonation of cement
materials. These properties are important in predicting/measuring the
durability of reinforced concrete in CO2 environment. The
carbonation depth and the porosity accessible to water were also
reported in order to explain comprehensively the changes in non
destructive parameters.
