Abstract: Recently, wireless sensor networks have been paid
more interest, are widely used in a lot of commercial and military
applications, and may be deployed in critical scenarios (e.g. when a
malfunctioning network results in danger to human life or great
financial loss). Such networks must be protected against human
intrusion by using the secret keys to encrypt the exchange messages
between communicating nodes. Both the symmetric and asymmetric
methods have their own drawbacks for use in key management. Thus,
we avoid the weakness of these two cryptosystems and make use of
their advantages to establish a secure environment by developing the
new method for encryption depending on the idea of code
conversion. The code conversion-s equations are used as the key for
designing the proposed system based on the basics of logic gate-s
principals. Using our security architecture, we show how to reduce
significant attacks on wireless sensor networks.
Abstract: In this paper, we start by first characterizing the most
important and distinguishing features of wavelet-based watermarking
schemes. We studied the overwhelming amount of algorithms
proposed in the literature. Application scenario, copyright protection
is considered and building on the experience that was gained,
implemented two distinguishing watermarking schemes. Detailed
comparison and obtained results are presented and discussed. We
concluded that Joo-s [1] technique is more robust for standard noise
attacks than Dote-s [2] technique.
Abstract: The paper presents a computational tool developed for
the evaluation of technical and economic advantages of an innovative
cleaning and conditioning technology of fluidized bed steam/oxygen
gasifiers outlet product gas. This technology integrates into a single
unit the steam gasification of biomass and the hot gas cleaning and
conditioning system. Both components of the computational tool,
process flowsheet and economic evaluator, have been developed
under IPSEpro software. The economic model provides information
that can help potential users, especially small and medium size
enterprises acting in the regenerable energy field, to decide the
optimal scale of a plant and to better understand both potentiality and
limits of the system when applied to a wide range of conditions.

the paper is phases, events and parallel computing execution .The
technique by which the values are visible on shared variables is
implemented. The second part of the paper consist of user defined
high level synchronization primitives implementation and system
architecture with memory protocols. There is a proposition of
techniques which are core in deciding the validating and invalidating
a stall page .
Abstract: Cyber physical system (CPS) for target tracking, military surveillance, human health monitoring, and vehicle detection all require maximizing the utility and saving the energy. Sensor selection is one of the most important parts of CPS. Sensor selection problem (SSP) is concentrating to balance the tradeoff between the number of sensors which we used and the utility which we will get. In this paper, we propose a performance constrained slide windows (PCSW) based algorithm for SSP in CPS. we present results of extensive simulations that we have carried out to test and validate the PCSW algorithms when we track a target, Experiment shows that the PCSW based algorithm improved the performance including selecting time and communication times for selecting.
Abstract: Music has a great effect on human body and mind; it
can have a positive effect on hormone system. Objective of this study
is to analysis the effect of music (carnatic, hard rock and jazz) on
brain activity during mental work load using electroencephalography
(EEG). Eight healthy subjects without special musical education
participated in the study. EEG signals were acquired at frontal (Fz),
parietal (Pz) and central (Cz) lobes of brain while listening to music
at three experimental condition (rest, music without mental task and
music with mental task). Spectral powers features were extracted at
alpha, theta and beta brain rhythms. While listening to jazz music, the
alpha and theta powers were significantly (p < 0.05) high for rest as
compared to music with and without mental task in Cz. While
listening to Carnatic music, the beta power was significantly (p <
0.05) high for with mental task as compared to rest and music
without mental task at Cz and Fz location. This finding corroborates
that attention based activities are enhanced while listening to jazz and
carnatic as compare to Hard rock during mental task.
Abstract: The study was carried out to evaluated effect of S-gridling on fruit growth and quality of wax apple. The study was laid in Random completed block design with four replicated. Four treatment were applied as follows: S-girdling, fruit thinning plus bagging with 2,4-D sprayed, fruit thinning plus bagging and the control treatment. 2,4D was sprayed at the small bud and petal fall stage. Girdling was applied three week before flowering. The effect of all treatments on fruit growth was measured weekly. Number of flower, fruit set, fruit drop, fruit crack, and fruit quality were recorded. The result indicated that S-girdling, 2,4D application produced the lowest bud drop, fruit drop compared to untreated control. S-girdling improved faster fruit growth producing the best final fruit length and diameter compared to untreated control. S-girdling also markedly enhanced fruit set, fruit weight, and total soluble solid, reduced fruit crack, titratable acidity. On the other hand, it was noticed that with 2,4-D application also increased the fruit growth rate, improved physiological and biochemical characters of fruit than control treatment. It was concluded that S-girdling was recommended as the industry norm to increase fruit set, fruit quality in wax apple. 2,4D application had a distinctive and significant effect on most of the fruit quality characteristics assessed.
Abstract: Academic research information service is a must for surveying previous studies in research and development process. OntoFrame is an academic research information service under Semantic Web framework different from simple keyword-based services such as CiteSeer and Google Scholar. The first purpose of this study is for revealing user behavior in their surveys, the objects of using academic research information services, and their needs. The second is for applying lessons learned from the results to OntoFrame.
Abstract: The principle concern of this paper is to determine the
impact of solar absorption coefficient of external wall on building
energy consumption. Simulations were carried out on a typical
residential building by using the simulation Toolkit DeST-h. Results
show that reducing solar absorption coefficient leads to a great
reduction in building energy consumption and thus light-colored
materials are suitable.
Abstract: Stable nonzero populations without random deaths
caused by the Verhulst factor (Verhulst-free) are a rarity. Majority
either grow without bounds or die of excessive harmful mutations.
To delay the accumulation of bad genes or diseases, a new
environmental parameter Γ is introduced in the simulation. Current
results demonstrate that stability may be achieved by setting Γ = 0.1.
These steady states approach a maximum size that scales inversely
with reproduction age.
Abstract: The Wavelet-Galerkin finite element method for
solving the one-dimensional heat equation is presented in this work.
Two types of basis functions which are the Lagrange and multi-level
wavelet bases are employed to derive the full form of matrix system.
We consider both linear and quadratic bases in the Galerkin method.
Time derivative is approximated by polynomial time basis that
provides easily extend the order of approximation in time space. Our
numerical results show that the rate of convergences for the linear
Lagrange and the linear wavelet bases are the same and in order 2
while the rate of convergences for the quadratic Lagrange and the
quadratic wavelet bases are approximately in order 4. It also reveals
that the wavelet basis provides an easy treatment to improve
numerical resolutions that can be done by increasing just its desired
levels in the multilevel construction process.

Abstract: The work we have accomplished in implementing a
Mobile Payment mechanism that enables customers to pay bills for
groceries and other purchased items in a store through the means of a
mobile phone, specifically a Smartphone. The mode of transaction, as
far as communication between the customer-s handset and the
merchant-s POS is concerned, we have decided upon NFC (Near
Field Communication). This is due to the fact that for the most part,
Pakistani Smartphone users have handsets that have Android mobile
OS, which supports the aforementioned platform, IOS, on the other
hand does not.
Abstract: In this paper, the hardware implementation of the
RSA public-key cryptographic algorithm is presented. The RSA
cryptographic algorithm is depends on the computation of repeated
modular exponentials.
The Montgomery algorithm is used and modified to reduce
hardware resources and to achieve reasonable operating speed for
FPGA. An efficient architecture for modular multiplications based on
the array multiplier is proposed. We have implemented a RSA
cryptosystem based on Montgomery algorithm. As a result, it is
shown that proposed architecture contributes to small area and
reasonable speed.
Abstract: Global warming and continental changes have been
one of the people's issues in the recent years and its consequences
have appeared in the most parts of the earth planet or will appear in
the future. Temperature and Precipitation are two main parameters in
climatology. Any changes in these two parameters in this region
cause widespread changes in the ecosystem and its natural and
humanistic structure. One of the important consequences of this
procedure is change in surface and underground water resources.
Zayanderood watershed basin which is the main central river in Iran
has faced water shortage in the recent years and also it has resulted in
drought in Gavkhuni swamp and the river itself. Managers and
experts in provinces which are the Zayanderood water consumers
believe that global warming; raining decrease and continental
changes are the main reason of water decrease. By statistical
investigation of annual Precipitation and 46 years temperature of
internal and external areas of Zayanderood watershed basin's stations
and by using Kendal-man method, Precipitation and temperature
procedure changes have been analyzed in this basin. According to
obtained results, there was not any noticeable decrease or increase
procedure in Precipitation and annual temperature in the basin during
this period. However, regarding to Precipitation, a noticeable
decrease and increase have been observed in small part of western
and some parts of eastern and southern basin, respectively.
Furthermore, the investigation of annual temperature procedure has
shown that a noticeable increase has been observed in some parts of
western and eastern basin, and also a noticeable increasing procedure
of temperature in the central parts of metropolitan Esfahan can be
observed.
Abstract: purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of support services for students with special education needs (SEN) at colleges and universities in Taiwan. Seventy-two college and universities received a questionnaire on its resource room operation process and four resource room staffs each from different areas were interviewed through semi- structured interview forms. The main findings were (1) most colleges and universities did offer sufficient administrative resources; (2) more efforts on preventions for SEN students and establishment of disability awareness should be made for all campus faculties ; (3) more comprehensive services were required to help students to have better transition into post-school life; (4) most schools provided basic administrative resource requirements but qualities of the resource room programs needed to be enhanced; and (5) most resource room staffs lacked of professional knowledge in counseling the SEN students which needed to be strengthened in the future.
Abstract: Hydrothermally synthesized high silica borosilicates
with the MFI structure was subjected to several characterization
techniques. The effect of boron on the structure and acidity of
HZSM-5 catalyst were studied by XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption, solid
state NMR, NH3-TPD. It was confirmed that boron had entered the
framework in the boron samples. The results also revealed that strong
acidity was weakened and weak acidity was strengthened by the
boron added zeolite framework compared with parent catalyst. The
catalytic performance was carried out in a fixed bed at 460°C for
methanol to propylene (MTP) reaction. The results of MTP reaction
showed a great increment of the propylene selectivity and excellent
stability for the B-HZSM-5. The catalyst exhibited about 81%
selectivity to C2
= - C4
= olefins with 40% selectivity of propylene as
major component at near 100% methanol conversion, and the stable
performance in the studied period was 100h.
Abstract: Experimental data from an atmospheric air/water terrain slugging case has been made available by the Shell Amsterdam research center, and has been subject to numerical simulation and comparison with a one-dimensional two-phase slug tracking simulator under development at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The code is based on tracking of liquid slugs in pipelines by use of a Lagrangian grid formulation implemented in Cµ by use of object oriented techniques. An existing hybrid spatial discretization scheme is tested, in which the stratified regions are modelled by the two-fluid model. The slug regions are treated incompressible, thus requiring a single momentum balance over the whole slug. Upon comparison with the experimental data, the period of the simulated severe slugging cycle is observed to be sensitive to slug generation in the horizontal parts of the system. Two different slug initiation methods have been tested with the slug tracking code, and grid dependency has been investigated.
Abstract: The design of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) system plays a vital role in automation of power system. This paper proposes Hybrid Neuro Fuzzy (HNF) approach for AGC of two-area interconnected reheat thermal power system with the consideration of Generation Rate Constraint (GRC). The advantage of proposed controller is that it can handle the system non-linearities and at the same time the proposed approach is faster than conventional controllers. The performance of HNF controller has been compared with that of both conventional Proportional Integral (PI) controller as well as Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) both in the absence and presence of Generation Rate Constraint (GRC). System performance is examined considering disturbance in each area of interconnected power system.
Abstract: In this study, the Taguchi method was used to optimize the effect of HALO structure or halo implant variations on threshold voltage (VTH) and leakage current (ILeak) in 45nm p-type Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) device. Besides halo implant dose, the other process parameters which used were Source/Drain (S/D) implant dose, oxide growth temperature and silicide anneal temperature. This work was done using TCAD simulator, consisting of a process simulator, ATHENA and device simulator, ATLAS. These two simulators were combined with Taguchi method to aid in design and optimize the process parameters. In this research, the most effective process parameters with respect to VTH and ILeak are halo implant dose (40%) and S/D implant dose (52%) respectively. Whereas the second ranking factor affecting VTH and ILeak are oxide growth temperature (32%) and halo implant dose (34%) respectively. The results show that after optimizations approaches is -0.157V at ILeak=0.195mA/μm.
