Abstract: In this study we present the effect of elevated
temperatures from 300K to 400K on the electrical properties of
copper Phthalocyanine (CuPc) based organic field effect transistors
(OFET). Thin films of organic semiconductor CuPc (40nm) and
semitransparent Al (20nm) were deposited in sequence, by vacuum
evaporation on a glass substrate with previously deposited Ag source
and drain electrodes with a gap of 40 μm. Under resistive mode of
operation, where gate was suspended it was observed that drain
current of this organic field effect transistor (OFET) show an
increase with temperature. While in grounded gate condition metal
(aluminum) – semiconductor (Copper Phthalocyanine) Schottky
junction dominated the output characteristics and device showed
switching effect from low to high conduction states like Zener diode
at higher bias voltages. This threshold voltage for switching effect
has been found to be inversely proportional to temperature and shows
an abrupt decrease after knee temperature of 360K. Change in
dynamic resistance (Rd = dV/dI) with respect to temperature was
observed to be -1%/K.
Abstract: Since the admission of Islam onto the Malay World in
16th century, the Malay culture began to grow in line with the
teachings of Islam as a guide of life. Mosque become a symbol of
Muslim communities, as well as the cultural values that have been
adapted represent the maturity and readiness of Malay Muslim in
manifest a lifestyle tradition into the community. Refinement of
ornament that used to take from Hindu-Buddhist beliefs before were
adopted and refined to the Islamic values based on the teachings of
al-Quran and as-Sunnah delivered a certain message to convey a
meaning to the observer. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze
the typology and classification of ornaments in Malaysia-s traditional
mosque as a channel to the community towards understanding of the
identity and also the framework of design thinking in ornaments
particularly to the urban mosques in Malaysia.
Abstract: Socioeconomic stability and development of a
country, can be describe by housing affordability. It is aimed to
ensure the housing provided as one of the key factors that is
affordable by every income earner group whether low-income,
middle income and high income group. This research carried out is to
find out affordability of home ownership level for first medium cost
landed-house by the middle-income group in Selangor, Malaysia. It is
also hope that it could be seen as able to contribute to the knowledge
and understanding on housing affordability level for the middleincome
group and variables that influenced the medium income
group-s ability to own first medium-cost houses.
