Abstract: This paper impart the design and testing of
Nanotechnology based sequential circuits using multiplexer
conservative QCA (MX-CQCA) logic gates, which is easily testable
using only two vectors. This method has great prospective in the
design of sequential circuits based on reversible conservative logic
gates and also smashes the sequential circuits implemented in
traditional gates in terms of testability. Reversible circuits are similar
to usual logic circuits except that they are built from reversible gates.
Designs of multiplexer conservative QCA logic based two vectors
testable double edge triggered (DET) sequential circuits in VHDL
language are also accessible here; it will also diminish intricacy in
testing side. Also other types of sequential circuits such as D, SR, JK
latches are designed using this MX-CQCA logic gate. The objective
behind the proposed design methodologies is to amalgamate
arithmetic and logic functional units optimizing key metrics such as
garbage outputs, delay, area and power. The projected MX-CQCA
gate outshines other reversible gates in terms of the intricacy, delay.
Abstract: Nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQDs)
were fabricated by microwave-assisted hydrothermal technique. The
optical properties of the N-GQDs were studied. The luminescence of
the N-GQDs can be tuned by varying the excitation wavelength.
Furthermore, two-photon luminescence of the N-GQDs excited by
near-infrared laser can be obtained. It is shown that N-doping play a
key role on two-photon luminescence. The N-GQDs are expected to
find application in biological applications including bioimaging and
sensing.
Abstract: FengShui, an old Chinese discipline, dates back to
more than 5000 years, is one of the design principles that aim at
creating habitable and sustainable spaces in harmony with nature by
systematizing data within its own structure. Having emerged from
Chinese mysticism and embodying elements of faith in its principles,
FengShui argues that the positive energy in the environment channels
human behavior and psychology. This argument is supported with the
thesis of quantum physics that ‘everything is made up of energy’ and
gains an important place.
In spaces where living and working take place with several
principles and systematized rules, FengShui promises a happier, more
peaceful and comfortable life by influencing human psychology, acts,
and soul as well as the professional and social life of the individual.
Observing these design properties in houses, workplaces, offices, the
environment, and daily life as a design paradigm is significant. In this
study, how FengShui, a Central Asian culture emanated from Chinese
mysticism, shapes design and how it is used as an element of
sustainable design will be explained.
Abstract: The 1/f noise investigation in nanoscale light-emitting
diodes and lasers, based on GaAs and alloys, is presented here.
Leakage and additional (to recombination through quantum wells
and/or dots) nonlinear currents were detected and it was shown that
these currents are the main source of the 1/f noise in devices studied.
Abstract: The nonlinear self-interaction of an electrostatic surface wave on a semibounded quantum plasma with relativistic degeneracy is investigated by using quantum hydrodynamic (QHD) model and the Poisson’s equation with appropriate boundary conditions. It is shown that a part of the second harmonic generated through self-interaction does not have a true surface wave character but propagates obliquely away from the plasma-vacuum interface into the bulk of plasma.
Abstract: The requirement for consistency in physics can sometimes offer a common ground between disciplines such that their fundamental equations share a common parameter set and mathematical method for equation extraction. The parameter set shared by Relativity and Quantum Wave Mechanics enables an analysis which will be seen to be very straightforward, primarily classical in nature using linear algebra concepts, yet deriving a theoretical estimate of the value of the Gravitational Constant along with dependencies never before known.
Abstract: Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is one of the most substitute emerging nanotechnologies for electronic circuits, because of lower power consumption, higher speed and smaller size in comparison with CMOS technology. The basic devices, a Quantum-dot cell can be used to implement logic gates and wires. As it is the fundamental building block on nanotechnology circuits. By applying XOR gate the hardware requirements for a QCA circuit can be decrease and circuits can be simpler in terms of level, delay and cell count. This article present a modest approach for implementing novel optimized XOR gate, which can be applied to design many variants of complex QCA circuits. Proposed XOR gate is simple in structure and powerful in terms of implementing any digital circuits. In order to verify the functionality of the proposed design some complex implementation of parity generator and parity checker circuits are proposed and simulating by QCA Designer tool and compare with some most recent design. Simulation results and physical relations confirm its usefulness in implementing every digital circuit.
Abstract: Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics is an interesting
framework to analyze nonrelativistic quantal problems. Using these
techniques, we construct a family of strictly isospectral Hulth´en
potentials. Isospectral wave functions are generated and plotted for
different values of the deformation parameter.
Abstract: The most important mathematical operation for any computing system is addition. An efficient adder can be of greater assistance in designing of any arithmetic circuits. Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is a promising nanotechnology to create electronic circuits for computing devices and suitable candidate for next generation of computing systems. The article presents a modest approach to implement a novel XOR gate. The gate is simple in structure and powerful in terms of implementing digital circuits. By applying the XOR gate, the hardware requirement for a QCA circuit can be decrease and circuits can be simpler in level, clock phase and cell count. In order to verify the functionality of the proposed device some implementation of Half Adder (HA) and Full Adder (FA) is checked by means of computer simulations using QCA-Designer tool. Simulation results and physical relations confirm its usefulness in implementing every digital circuit.
Abstract: The group of progressive cutting materials can include non-traditional, emerging and less-used materials that can be an efficient use of cutting their lead to a quantum leap in the field of machining. This is essentially a “superhard” materials (STM) based on polycrystalline diamond (PCD) and polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) cutting performance ceramics and development is constantly "perfecting" fine coated cemented carbides. The latter cutting materials are broken down by two parameters, toughness and hardness. A variation of alloying elements is always possible to improve only one of each parameter. Reducing the size of the core on the other hand doing achieves "contradictory" properties, namely to increase both hardness and toughness.
Abstract: The energy-level structure of a pair of electron and positron confined in a quasi-one-dimensional nano-scale potential well has been investigated focusing on its trend in the small limit of confinement strength ω, namely, the Wigner molecular regime. An anisotropic Gaussian-type basis functions supplemented by high angular momentum functions as large as l = 19 has been used to obtain reliable full configuration interaction (FCI) wave functions. The resultant energy spectrum shows a band structure characterized by ω for the large ω regime whereas for the small ω regime it shows an energy-level pattern dominated by excitation into the in-phase motion of the two particles. The observed trend has been rationalized on the basis of the nodal patterns of the FCI wave functions.
Abstract: Characteristics of MSM photodetector based on a porous In0.08Ga0.92N thin film were reported. Nanoporous structures of n-type In0.08Ga0.92N/AlN/Si thin films were synthesized by photoelectrochemical (PEC) etching at a ratio of 1:4 of HF:C2H5OH solution for 15min. The structural and optical properties of pre- and post-etched thin films were investigated. Field emission scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscope images showed that the pre-etched thin film has a sufficiently smooth surface over a large region and the roughness increased for porous film. Blue shift has been observed in photoluminescence emission peak at 300 K for porous sample. The photoluminescence intensity of the porous film indicated that the optical properties have been enhanced. A high work function metals (Pt and Ni) were deposited as a metal contact on the porous films. The rise and recovery times of the devices were investigated at 390nm chopped light. Finally, the sensitivity and quantum efficiency were also studied.
Abstract: This paper introduces a Quantum Correlation Matrix Memory (QCMM) and Enhanced QCMM (EQCMM), which are useful to work with quantum memories. A version of classical Gram-Schmidt orthogonalisation process in Dirac notation (called Quantum Orthogonalisation Process: QOP) is presented to convert a non-orthonormal quantum basis, i.e., a set of non-orthonormal quantum vectors (called qudits) to an orthonormal quantum basis, i.e., a set of orthonormal quantum qudits. This work shows that it is possible to improve the performance of QCMM thanks QOP algorithm. Besides, the EQCMM algorithm has a lot of additional fields of applications, e.g.: Steganography, as a replacement Hopfield Networks, Bilevel image processing, etc. Finally, it is important to mention that the EQCMM is an extremely easy to implement in any firmware.
Abstract: Cloud computing technology is very useful in present day to day life, it uses the internet and the central remote servers to provide and maintain data as well as applications. Such applications in turn can be used by the end users via the cloud communications without any installation. Moreover, the end users’ data files can be accessed and manipulated from any other computer using the internet services. Despite the flexibility of data and application accessing and usage that cloud computing environments provide, there are many questions still coming up on how to gain a trusted environment that protect data and applications in clouds from hackers and intruders. This paper surveys the “keys generation and management” mechanism and encryption/decryption algorithms used in cloud computing environments, we proposed new security architecture for cloud computing environment that considers the various security gaps as much as possible. A new cryptographic environment that implements quantum mechanics in order to gain more trusted with less computation cloud communications is given.
Abstract: We explore entanglement in composite quantum systems
and how its peculiar properties are exploited in quantum
information and communication protocols by means of Diagrams
of States, a novel method to graphically represent and analyze how
quantum information is elaborated during computations performed
by quantum circuits.
We present quantum diagrams of states for Bell states generation,
measurements and projections, for dense coding and quantum teleportation,
for probabilistic quantum machines designed to perform
approximate quantum cloning and universal NOT and, finally, for
quantum privacy amplification based on entanglement purification.
Diagrams of states prove to be a useful approach to analyze quantum
computations, by offering an intuitive graphic representation of the
processing of quantum information. They also help in conceiving
novel quantum computations, from describing the desired information
processing to deriving the final implementation by quantum gate
arrays.
Abstract: The aim of this research was to calculate the
mechanical properties of Pd3Rh and PdRh3 ordered alloys. The
molecular dynamics (MD) simulation technique was used to obtain
temperature dependence of the energy, the Yong modulus, the shear
modulus, the bulk modulus, Poisson-s ratio and the elastic stiffness
constants at the isobaric-isothermal (NPT) ensemble in the range of
100-325 K. The interatomic potential energy and force on atoms were
calculated by Quantum Sutton-Chen (Q-SC) many body potential.
Our MD simulation results show the effect of temperature on the
cohesive energy and mechanical properties of Pd3Rh as well as
PdRh3 alloys. Our computed results show good agreement with the
experimental results where they have been available.
Abstract: The ionization energy in semiconductor
systems in nano scale was investigated by using effective mass
approximation. By introducing the Hamiltonian of the system, the
variational technique was employed to calculate the ground state and
the ionization energy of a donor at the center and in the case that the
impurities are randomly distributed inside a cubic quantum well. The
numerical results for GaAs/GaAlAs show that the ionization energy
strongly depends on the well width for both cases and it decreases as
the well width increases. The ionization energy of a quantum wire
was also calculated and compared with the results for the well.

Specifically, we discuss the application of Molecular Dynamics Simulations and Electronic Structure Calculations in drug design, in the clarification of the structural and dynamic properties of proteins and enzymes and in the understanding of the catalytic and inhibition mechanism of cancer-related enzymes. A set of examples illustrate the concepts and help to introduce the reader into this important and fast moving field.
Abstract: In this paper a functional interpretation of quantum
theory (QT) with emphasis on quantum field theory (QFT) is proposed.
Besides the usual statements on relations between a functions
initial state and final state, a functional interpretation also contains
a description of the dynamic evolution of the function. That is, it
describes how things function. The proposed functional interpretation
of QT/QFT has been developed in the context of the author-s work
towards a computer model of QT with the goal of supporting
the largest possible scope of QT concepts. In the course of this
work, the author encountered a number of problems inherent in the
translation of quantum physics into a computer program. He came
to the conclusion that the goal of supporting the major QT concepts
can only be satisfied, if the present model of QT is supplemented
by a "functional interpretation" of QT/QFT. The paper describes a
proposal for that
